VINifyCheck provides a free VIN check and VIN decoder returning basic vehicle data including make, model, year, and vehicle specifications. We also offer an optional paid vehicle history report online that includes accident history, title checks, theft records, odometer rollback detection, and salvage title information. Availability of datasets may vary by vehicle and jurisdiction.

3. Acceptable Use

• Use the Service for lawful purposes only, including VIN lookup for personal vehicle research.
• Do not attempt to reverse engineer, overload, or disrupt our systems.
• Do not misuse the Service to invade privacy or violate consumer protection laws.
• You may not use automated systems to scrape or query the Service without written permission.

4. No Professional Advice

Reports and results from our free VIN check and paid vehicle history reports are for informational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional inspection, mechanical evaluation, or legal advice. Always conduct a thorough car history check before purchasing a used vehicle.

5. Data Sources & Accuracy

We aggregate data from reputable automotive and safety databases, including NMVTIS-approved providers. Our VIN decoder and vehicle history reports utilize data from VINDATA, an NMVTIS-authorized VIN data seller. We cannot guarantee completeness or accuracy of third-party records. Not all incidents such as accidents, title brands, flood damage, or theft records are reported to centralized databases.

6. Payments & Refunds

Paid reports are processed via our secure checkout. All sales are generally final once a report is generated. If you experience technical issues preventing report delivery, contact support for resolution.
